What Is Chiropractic?
The goal of chiropractic is the restoration of lost joint mobility as well as the mobility of internal organs. To achieve this, their relative positions are restored.
Two Main Directions
Based on the methods of intervention, chiropractic is divided into two categories:
Chiropractic
Very similar to Thai massage and certain classic massage techniques. Uses more forceful manipulations to correct the position of vertebrae and joints.
Osteopathy
Uses gentle, non-forceful, and barely perceptible manipulations to move and shift:
- Vertebrae
- Skull bones
- Internal organs
by fractions of a millimetre to several millimetres.
Why Is Chiropractic Alone Not Enough?
If a person has a bone displacement held in place by tense muscles or a displacement of internal organs that disrupts blood supply, nutrition, and their function, then this displacement must be corrected.
However, the effect of chiropractic treatment will always be short-lived, because reduced brain control over the musculoskeletal system will not prevent the reverse displacement and fixation of bones or internal organs.
The Power of Combination
Only through the combined use of acupuncture and chiropractic can positive results in the treatment of diseases be achieved.
Acupuncture restores the brain’s control over the musculoskeletal system, while chiropractic returns organs and joints to their correct position. Their combination creates a comprehensive therapeutic effect that is permanent.
